looks at consumer views of meat and poultry within the context of
health, green issues and dietary/cultural norms.
Also documented is changes to levels of personal meat
consumption amongst UK consumers in the past 12 months. YouGov also
asks panellists just how likely meat forms the basis of or an
integral part of different mealtimes.
Attitudes surrounding the purchase of meats form off-shoot
considerations for meat manufacturers, whether it pertains to the
consumer's relationship to his/her butcher or issues in relation to
packaging. The use of raw meat within the context of cooking from
scratch trends is also explored.
